Magic Mountain - have pass, will travel. I have been to Magic Mountain at least four times and Hurricane Harbor twice since acquiring a season pass, and I must admit, it was the best $50 I had spent in a long time. And of course, being quite the fan of Halloween, I was definitely unable to resist the call of the Magic Mountain Fright Fest!

There's something a bit creepy going on... It was an ominous day and Colossus, the great wooden roller coaster near the entrance to the parking lot, looks like a giant web with a huge spider atop. Colossus itself was a bit possessed, as one of the coaster's tracks pulled the car backwards! What a bizarre and fun experience to watch the track grow beneath you as you ride up a hill, only to suddenly be thrust down to unknown depths. We rode this one twice!

Give me an A! Project Goliath, which is where we try to take a picture with a different letter of the word GOLIATH every time we hit the park with the intention of putting the photos together to spell out the word. Of course, I haven't gotten around to even digging through my copious digital photo library to find the letters to spell the word. I'm sure we've hit A before.
The Magic Mountain Fright Fest Party is as follows, top to bottom, left to right: Justin Bouchee (top), Cheryl(?), Doug Kasper, Dawn McGroarty, Sue Lee, yours truly, Tony Stray (back row), Alex, Nav Moondi, RJ Blaze, and Michael Grant (front row).

Project Goliath is a little easier with Goliath Jr.
Hangin' around kiddie land.
This guy sure knows how to get Dawn's goat! Did you know there was a petting zoo at Magic Mountain? I did not until this very day. Unfortunately, all there are in the petting zoo are goats.
Doug gives the finger -- a very BIG finger!!
Mike gets fingered. "I didn't do it!!!" he shrieks.
On a grim dismal day, nothing beats a hoodie. We are The Order of the Hood, black and white, light and dark.
Ana Greco joins the party.
Mike and Ana find replacement bodies after getting too close to Mad Chad's chainsaw juggling act.
At night, the park transformed into a haunted house with spooks and mazes and rollercoasters in the dark. Here a haunted hearse offers to give us a ride to the parking lot, but the road we took came to a dead end.
