That's Knott Scary (Farm) 2001
October 13, 2001

Halloween fell on a weeknight this year, a Wednesday, and so it was fitting for the Halloween season to begin the weekend before, on October 27th. It's funny how Halloween night has become Halloween season. When all was said and done, I had worn my Halloween costume on THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS (up one from last year), not including work, and of cousre, not including Knott's Scary Farm, where costumes are prohibited.

The party was small and low-key, but there were plenty of good friends around to make it an absolute blast! Here, Ana Greco and Tim Thomas pose while Mr. and Mrs. Colmenares chill on the couch.

Here, the hosts with the mosts, King Andrew Diamond and Koddi Sixx pose for a pic with party go-ers. No, Darth Maul back there isn't a real person. The house was gaily decorated with Halloween Haunts. It was also filled with Kody's formidible action figure collection (a girl with taste after my own heart) and beautiful artwork.

Three members of New Eden were in attendance. This was my first edition of this costume, which was intended to be a medieval vampiress. The fangs I purchased just prior to the party were too big to be of any use, so I tried to best to run the costume with the princess hat and a black and white wig (which was removed by the time I took this picture). It didn't look as good as the later renditions.

I honestly don't remember these pictures being taken with my wig... was I that trashed, or in the little grrrllzz room? Here, the two non-costumed chicas play dress-up. On the left is Zirma - or rather, Irma in Horacio's Zorro hat and my long wig. On the right, Ana shows Irma how to wear the costume with style.

Thank you to Andrew and Kody for the great fiesta and congratulations on the killer new apartment!
