4th of July Party

After a fun and exciting 4th of July Pre-Party at Fro Boy's and Dave Del Rio's, we all woke up the next morning, tired and hung over, and prepared for the 4th of July bash on Bellmont shore. The band was setting up and the kegs were already flowing by the time we arrived.

Pace Car performs their annual 4th of July party show, with guest bass player and 2nd guitarist. Dave Del Rio's front yard has a convenient patio/drum riser in the front yard just for this occasion.

Eat Drink & Be Merry. The posse celebrates the 4th of July: (l to r) Tony, Penis, Fro, me, Ana, Joe, and Dustin (hey, isn't he a minor???). Dustin nearly got into a fight with Dave Del Rio's neighbor, as he was caught taking a pee in the neighbor's garage -- oops! Busted!

Ana, Doug, and I went rollerblading up to the Queen Mary. Here Ana and Doug pose by the marina with the city of Long Beach behind them.

And of course, the tormenting of those passed out continues from the night before. Here Ana tattoo's Dustin's arm...

And here's Dustin after Ana and I got through with him. Wanna bet he never passes out at a party with *us* again??? heh heh heh... poor kidlet...

Evening fireworks finished off an excellent 4th of July day. The beach was more like a warzone, with people lighting fireworks off in the pitch black -- I was really sure that one of those things would land on our heads! In addition to the illegally imported fireworks on the beach, from our vantage point we could also see the huge fireworks shot off the Queen Mary.
